That's how the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2009 describes us and we agree. We like to think our popularity is down to providing our customers with what they want - good quality food and drink in a comfortable relaxing environment.

The People
Your hosts, staff and customers

BII logo

Steve and Sue have been landlords of the Railway Vue since 1993. Over the years they've both earned an excellent reputation - Steve for his award winning beers and outgoing personality and Sue, when not behind the bar, for serving up an array of tasty food dishes. Both Steve and Sue, members of the BII, are commited to delivering excellent quality and high standards assisted by bar manager, Tim, and dedicated team of staff.

Our customers consist of local residents young and old, business professionals and visitors from further afield. There really is a wide cross-section of people, always friendly and welcoming.

Features and Facilities

Lounge bar

The Railway Vue is a popular village pub set in a quiet, but thriving area just off the A14 outside Cambridge. Enjoy a game of pool or darts in our traditional public bar, or watch live sport on the large t.v. screen.

Conservatory

Adjacent is the lounge bar with adjoining conservatory, both offering more space to enjoy a drink or meal in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Overlooking the garden our conservatory can be closed off, with prior arrangement, making it the ideal venue for business or private meetings and small functions.

Outside is the beer garden, a welcome feature during the warmer months and a safe environment for families with young children.

From its early beginnings, the Railway Vue has always been part of the fabric of village life. Today, nothing's changed - it still remains at the heart of the local community extending a warm friendly welcome to visitors from far and wide.
